Papa Jay's Jerk Chicken

A spicy classic made easy with Papa Jay’s Habanero hot sauce!

You will need:

-12 Chicken drumsticks

-5 tbsp Papa Jay’s Habanero hot sauce

-4 tbsp white vinegar

-3 Scallions

-2 cloves of Garlic

-4 tbsp Canola oil

-3 Tbsp Jamaican Allspice

-1 Tbsp Brown sugar

-1 tsp thyme

-1 tsp ground nutmeg

-1 tsp ground cloves

-2 tbsp Soy sauce

-1 tbsp Salt

Combine all of the ingredients except for the chicken in a blender and blend until smooth. Combine the rub and the chicken in a large mixing bowl and let rest in the fridge for 4-6 hours or overnight ideally.

Grill on high heat on the barbecue for roughly 15 minutes or until cooked through, lowering heat if necessary.

For best results, grill on a charcoal grill or smoke in your smoker for an even better, smokier result.
